Last Updated: Thursday 30th of April 2009 01:08:00 AM -0600MDTBELGIUM - An agreement on cooperation in fisheries and the conservation of marine resources in the Baltic between the Russian government and the EU was signed at the European Seafood Exhibition in Brussels this week.
The event was attended by Andrey Krayniy the head of the Russian Federal Agency for Fisheries.
During the event, the Russian fisheries authorities also gave a presentation on how the Russian and Norwegian fishery authorities were cooperating to manage the fish stocks in the Barents Sea.
